I have been with the Aurora Police Department since February of 2016 and have been an Aurora Police Association member since my first day on Patrol. I spend several years working District II swing shift and a Field Training Officer working District I day shift. I was assigned to the Emergency Response Team for about three years during this time. I have been an Aurora Police Explorer Advisor since February of 2017 currently fulfilling the duties of Training Advisor. I promoted to Sergeant in August of 2023. As a Sergeant I was assigned to the Discovery and Public records Unit for almost two years. I am currently assigned to the Robbery Investigative Unit.
I joined the Aurora Police Association Board since the beginning of 2021. Since being a board member I have held the position of Assistant Grievance Steward and Grievance Steward. I have attended a 40 hour Internal Affairs School put on by the FBI LEEDA organization. I am committed to making sure the Union membership is represented and taken care of through their disciplinary journey and or their experience with critical incidents. I want members to truly understand the process when it comes to the Department disciplinary process and feel they are being truly and fairly represented and investigated. I am passionate about the customer service the Aurora Police Association and I provide to the membership.

A little about me. I joined APD in 2017 as a basic. During my time with APD I have served in patrol, GIU, and the academy. All of my assignments have been such an awesome opportunity to learn and grow in this profession.
I am a Denver native. Born and raised in the metro area. I attended both Thomas Jefferson High School and Littleton High School. After graduating I joined the Army and served 8 years total as mechanic. After leaving the Army, I worked for a couple years out at Buckley Space Force Base for Lockheed Martin as Power Plant / Chiller Plant Engineer. I worked at both the Aerospace Data Facility and the 2nd Space Warning Missile Warning sites. I left this position to chase a career in Law Enforcement. I am a 5th generation police officer in Colorado, which I am pretty proud of!
I joined the APA board as the Secretary in 2024 because I have a deep passion for taking care of my peers. Having my voice be heard is important to me, but more importantly I want to represent our members and make sure their voices and concerns are taken seriously and in a timely fashion! I am proud to represent this incredible organization. Reach out to me anytime for anything at all!
